National Geographic selects the Amalfi Coast as one of 10 “Paradise found”

Amalfi Coast

The famous Amalfi Coast has been selected as one of the 10 “Paradise Found” by National Geographic Traveller in their “50 places in the world one should visit during a lifetime.

The magazine says: “The coast line around Amalfi is quite simply breathtaking. Cliffs plunge steeply into the azure sea with picturesque villages perched on their rocky sides, some of which until recently, were only accessible by boat. The views out across the Mediterranean Sea are stunning and this piece of coastline can quite rightly justify its claim to be one of the most scenic stretches in the world.”

Protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site the Amalfi Coast has kept its natural charm and beauty with breathtaking landscape, ancient towns untouched by modern architecture, natural diversity, excellent restaurants, very friendly people and the always present deep blue Mediterranean sea.
